Prizes were awarded for winners and runners-up, in each of the 4 age categories, for Individual and Group Entries.

• Individual Entries category:
  Winners received notebook PCs.
  Runners-up had a choice of a Cannon IXUS digital camera, Apple iPod Classic, or a LEGO Mindstorms NXT robot kit.
  

• Group Entries category:
  Each winning team received an Amazon voucher for the value of £500.
  Each Runner-up team received an Amazon voucher for the value of £150.
• The judges also awarded Certificates for "Highly Commended", "Commended" and for animation films that displayed the best use of sound, the best use of dialogue, the best educational film, etc.

 

The University announced prize-winners.

The final winners and runners-up were announced at the Computer Animation Festival at the University of Manchester on Digital 60 Day, Friday 20 June 2008. All prospective prizewinners were invited to Digital 60 Day to receive their awards, and enjoy a Winners' Lunch as guests of the University.

All visiting school childeren recieved a goodie-bag on departure!
