Manchester Turing Lecture

In honour and recognition of Alan Turing's contribution in the field of computing, IET and the BCS established the Turing Lecture in 1998. The University of Manchester and IBM, in association with the BCS and IET established the Manchester Turing Lecture in 2005.

This year we were delighted to welcome Donald E. Knuth to Manchester to deliver the 2011 lecture.
