In honour and recognition of Turing's contribution in the field of computing, IEE and BCS established the Turing Lecture in 1998.

For the third year running the University of Manchester and IBM, in association with the BCS and IET, were proud to host the Turing Lecture and to welcome this year's speaker Grady Booch, Chief Scientist IBM.

Thank you all for attending the lecture and making it such a success.
