Deloitte’s Enterprise Risk Services team works with many global organisations such as Barclays, Shell, BT and Hilton on a variety of innovative and exciting projects.
The School of Computer Science hosts this event annualy, Deloitte’s Enterprise Risk Services team will present their Technology Risk Management Game which involves:
- A real insight into the type of work that Deloitte perform.
- Working in teams, students have to interview staff from one of Deloitte's clients, an International Hotel Chain, with the aim of identifying the major technological and business risks.
- Teams usualy draft recommendations for the client, with the aim of helping them avoid the potentially disastrous events which could occur…
- Prizes are given to the winning team.
- Over a beer and some food, students have the chance to chat with current employees to get a real feel of what life is like at Deloitte.
- The event is attended by students from a variety of disciplines and it is a thoroughly enjoyable and insightful evening for all.

Right now, Deloitte are looking for high-achieving graduates to join their Enterprise Risk Services team. Deloitte offer their clients a variety of services to identify technology and business related risks and to develop, test and implement associated business controls. They have teams specialising in infrastructure and application security, IT project assurance, IT governance and data management.
You do not require an IT related degree - a willingness to learn about risks within clients' computer and business environments is more important. In addition, when you join you can opt to study for the highly regarded ACA qualification, and you will also gain strong project management and technical skills through on-the-job and formal training.
