Microsoft Inspiration Tour

The Inspiration Tour will consist of technically-focused sessions to help your students understand the latest software trends and how they can create compelling applications using Microsoft technologies.
Focusing on Silverlight, XNA and Microsoft Embedded technologies, the tour will provide your students with knowledge that they can use both in and out of class. It will also help prepare them for the modern IT and games industry, focusing on the boom areas of web 2.0, mobile and embedded devices.
Agenda
Session 1: What's new?
Students will get the opportunity to see some of our latest technology including Silverlight, XNA and Surface and understand how they fit into the UK software market.
Session 2: Next-generation technologies.
In this session, your students will discover the power of software on three key next-generation platforms: web 2.0, mobile and Microsoft embedded devices, and the games industry.
Session 3:What's in it for me?
In this final session, your students will learn more about our competitions. They'll also find out about our programmes and job opportunities.
