Seminar on Wednesday 4th December at 1pm from two recent alumni, Laura and Kristian.
The BBC Digital Media graduate scheme offers the unique chance to become a part of some of the most innovative and popular products, used by millions of people in the UK everyday, such as BBC News, BBC Weather and BBC Sport, iPlayer, and the brand new BBC Playlister.
Laura Howarth-Kirke and Kristian Epps who graduated in Computer Science from the School this summer will be visiting this Wednesday 4th December to talk about their experiences of working for the BBC and answering questions. This talk will be of interest to students who are thinking about applying to work at the BBC this year or next year, as well as those curious to know more about what life is like working in the media.
The seminar will talk place in LT 1.1 at 1pm on Wednesday 4th December. The closing date for applications this year for the digital media scheme is Friday 17th January 2014 at midnight, more information is available at http://www.bbc.co.uk/careers/trainee-schemes/digitalmediascheme.
