The Eighteenth ACM Conference on Hyptertext and Hypermidia (HT07) will be hosted by the Human Centred Web Lab at Manchester Museum in Manchester, UK on 10th- 12th Septermber 2007.

The HT07 is operating under the banner "Five Autonomous Programmes, One Unified Conference" to reflect that although there is a wide range of research areas within the community, all have a common interest in hypertext and hypermedia. The five autonomous programmes are Hypertext Models & Theory, Practical Hypertext, Hypertext & Society, Hypertext & The Person and Hypertext, Culture & Communication. HT07 aims to bring together researches from such various ranges into a single venue.

The HCW lab plays an important role in the overall organisation of the conference; Simon Harper is the general chair; Yeliz Yesilada is the registration chair; Darren Lunn is the media chair and Eleni Michailidou is the publicity chair. Simon Harper is also in the Hypertext Steering Committee which seeks to guide and advise future conference organisers.
