A paper by Yeliz Yesilada, Caroline Jay, Robert Stevens and Simon Harper has been recently accepted by the World Wide Web Conference 2008.

The paper, "Validating the Use and Role of Visual Elements of Web Pages in Navigation with an Eye-Tracking Study", presents an eye-tracking study that examines how people use the visual elements of Web pages to complete certain tasks. Results show that there is a strong relationship between the aspects of a page that receive visual attention and the travel objects identified by a framework established in their previous work.

    Congratulations to the authors!
