CANCELLED SEMINAR: Better decision making

Nick Edwards worked in intelligence and security for 51 years until his retirement in 2008. After learning Russian in the RAF he worked as a Signals Intelligence (Sigint) operator and analyst and then joined GCHQ in 1968 as an analyst. He served 28 years at GCHQ and CESG. Highlights included 3 years at DSD Australia, 3 years as a civilian Sigint adviser to the military in Cyprus, as a Duty Officer at GCHQ, as head of the "Threat" section at CESG and as Director of the UK Industrial Tempest scheme. In 1996 he joined Nortel (secure communications). In 2000 he moved to a start up company (which failed) and then worked for a USA technology company. After 4 years working as an independent security consultant he was appointed Principal Security Consultant at Hyder Consulting (an engineering design company). Most of his work for Hyder was advising multi million JV projects in the Middle East and CNI customers in UK. In retirement Nick takes an active interest in all aspects of security and as a founder member of IAAC still sits on the IAAC Academic Liaison Panel.)
