Taught Postgraduate Funding
Kilburn Scholarships
A number of Kilburn Scholarships are available to students starting on postgraduate taught programmes in September 2009. The Kilburn Scholarships are in memory of Tom Kilburn, who in 1948 designed and built the world's first stored program computer here in Manchester. They are awarded on academic merit to home/EU or international students who we believe have the skills and aptitude to help the help the School build on Kilburn’s legacy of achievement and innovation.
