Research Projects
Many of our research projects are collaborations with leading research groups in other Schools and institutions or with industrial and commercial companies.
Our research attracts funding from the major UK Research Councils, the European Commission, UK government, industry and other sponsors world-wide. This provides an internationally competitive infrastructure of equipment and other facilities and maintaining a large body of first rate postdoctoral research staff, many of whom move on to university lectureships or research-oriented posts in industry.
