    COMP101 guest lecture Feb 16th

    COMP101 Guest lecture Thursday 16th Feb 11am in LT 1.1 by Craig Dean: “Developing a Career in IT: Patterns Paradigms and Methodologies”. 

    Craig Dean is the Chief Executive of Web Applications UK, a company that make bespoke travel software based in Oldham, Greater Manchester. They have employed many students from the School of Computer Science as summer interns and year long industrial placements and are established sponsors of the annual Hack Manchester competition every October at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester.

    Craig graduated with a degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge in 1997 and is a regular speaker at Schools, Colleges and Universities across the North West. This talk is open to all, not just COMP101 or Computer Science students.
