Have you ever thought about turning your research into a business? Do you want to hear from people who have done just that? Do you have an idea, but don’t know where to start?
The UMIP Enterprise Associates are organising an afternoon session for research students. In this event you will hear from entrepreneurs James Adam (The CATS Campaign) and Iwan Roberts (Neurodynamics, UK). The entrepreneurs will be sharing their knowledge regarding idea development and will provide their personal insight into starting a business, detailing their highs, lows and lessons learnt along the way.
UMIP representatives will also be on hand to discuss the support network provided by UMIP for those interested in commercialising their ideas. The event will feature the launch of our Enterprise Associate Ignition Awards for PhD Students, up to £2000 is available to help kick start ideas!
