We will begin considering applications for CDT 2017 entry from late October of 2016 onwards. Successful applicants will register for a four year course leading to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science.
CDT applications are assessed regularly and shortlists will be drawn up over the academic year.
Details of the application process and how to apply are available in more detail here.
The CDT awards pay all tuition fees and full stipend for 4 years for candidates from the UK or EU. Applications are welcome from home and overseas candidates who have their own funding.
The awards will allow PhD students to undertake research on topics that they will choose after six months of more general study within the Centre. During the initial six month period each CDT student will have the opportunity to meet potential PhD supervisors within the School of Computer Science. There will be a wide range of PhD research topics to choose from.
