How you can visit the School

Come to an open day

You can find out exactly what we have to offer on one of our open days during which you can explore our facilities, meet our staff, and discover everything student life in Manchester has to offer.

...and see our technology fair

As part of the open day you will see our technology fair which showcases a number of exhibits by students and staff demonstrating the cutting-edge technologies which our students have worked with in the past year.

Interested in Science and Engineering but not sure what to study?

We can help you decide #WhichWay you should go…

Applicant visit days

If you are a promising applicant who is resident in the UK/EU you will be invited to attend a School Visit Day.

Visit Days give you an opportunity to look around the School, see demonstrations and examples of the work our students are involved in, and to talk with some of our current students.

To help us assess your suitability for the subject you will be given an interview with a member of our academic staff. This will also give you the opportunity to learn more about the course and the School.

Alternative ways to visit

If you cannot attend an Open Day, you may like to come on a guided tour of the campus. These are central university tours, and take place every Wednesday afternoon, however if you visit Manchester then please do let us know as we would be happy to show you around the School of Computer Science as well.
