The page gives the normal September 2012 entry requirements for undergraduate degree programmes in the School of Computer Science.

An approved English language qualification will be needed in addition to the requirements listed below.

Entrance Requirements for MEng Programmes

  • Award of Baccalaureate with an average of 80%
  • A minimum of 80% in mathematics
  • Mathematics must have been studied for at least five periods per week
  • A final written examination in mathematics must have been taken
  • A scientific bias to the specialist subjects studied (as measured by the periods per week)
  • Approved English language qualifications include:
    • 70% in a four periods per week English

Entrance Requirements for BSc Programmes

  • Award of Baccalaureate with an average of 75%
  • A minimum of 75% in mathematics
  • Mathematics must have been studied for at least five periods per week
  • A final written examination in mathematics must have been taken
  • A scientific bias to the specialist subjects studied (as measured by the hours per week)
  • Approved English language qualifications include:
    • 70% in a four periods per week English
