Students from Kanazawa Izumigaoka High School in Japan visit our school
Date: Aug 5th. 2008
On 4 & 5 August, the School was delighted to host a visit from Kanazawa Izumigaoka High School, all the way from the city of Kanazawa, Japan. The 16 schoolchildren and 2 teachers were welcomed by Professor Roger Hubbold, and in a packed 2-day program visited research groups here in the School, and all across Campus. They even delivered a presentation (in English!) on public-key cryptography to a large audience from the School.
One of the many highlights was a visit to MOSI and a demonstration of the Rebuilt Baby (shown below) by Chris Burton.
The children have compiled a photo-diary of their visit to England on their School's website (available in pdf).
