Student Research Conference

Just before Christmas 2008, the inaugural Student Research Conference was held in Cambridge, and the School was delighted to be able to send 5 of its best students to attend. This prestigious event, funded by Google, Microsoft, BT and others, attracted over 150 undergraduates from almost 80 UK universities, with the aim of encouraging undergraduates to think about entering postgradute research after they graduate.
Our five representatives were Dave Stockley, Vitalijs Stepanovs, Viridis (Mei) Liew, Sergejs Aleksejevs and Ashley Carver. They all had a fantastic time, and you can read their reports from the links provided below.
