Industry Club @csmcr

The School of Computer Science has a large and active Industry Club. Membership is open to organisations that are seeking to employ students before or after graduation. The club:
- allows organisations to build and maintain relationships with the School and its graduates through a variety of events such as careers fairs, drop-in sessions, guest lectures and tech-talks;
- provides an opportunity for members to keep up in touch by receiving the Industry Club newsletter
- includes an industrial advisory board which recommends content for some areas of the curriculum e.g. software engineering;
If you would like to join the Industry Club @csmcr, You can subscribe to the cs-industryclub mailing list (by emailing the listserv@listservmanchester.ac.uk with the text subscribe cs-industryclub in the body of your message), the mailing list is low traffic with around 2-3 emails sent out every year including the industry club newsletter. Many of our industry club members are ranked in the Top 100 Graduate employers by The Times and the Top 300 employers by The Guardian. According to the annual high fliers report (The Graduate Market in 2017, see Table 5.8), The University of Manchester is one of the top five universities currently targeted by the largest number of leading graduate employers. This means the University has attracted the largest number of top graduate recruiters for campus fairs, recruitment presentations or other local university promotions.
