Volunteer with Nightline!
Greater Manchester Nightline is a confidential listening and information telephone service run by student volunteers.
We are currently recruiting volunteers to take calls. It’s a great opportunity to gain strong communication skills and make new friends. It can count towards the Manchester Leadership Programme and looks great on your C.V!
Volunteers must have clear spoken English and cannot be in their final year of study.
If you are interested, please fill in the form on our website to register your interest, http://manchester.nightline.ac.uk/volunteer/ .
Training starts on Tuesday 6th February, 6:15-8:15 pm in Stopford Building and runs every Tuesday and Thursday for seven weeks. All you need to do is turn up and someone will direct you.
If you have any queries email training@manchester.nightline.ac.uk
If training doesn't sound right for you, remember that Nightline is available to all students in Manchester. We're open from 8pm to 8am every night during term time, and our number is on the back of your student card!
Best wishes,
Nightline
