Project description

This project will be within the fields of machine learning, pattern recognition and artificial intelligence. The broad aim will be to develop advanced mathematical modelling and large-scale optimisation techniques, to simulate human intelligence for solving complex tasks, such as matching, recognition, relation extraction, or text/image understanding. The developed techniques will be simulated on real-world tasks, such as generating text description of image/video content, question answering, image understanding, language interpretation, etc.
