Entry requirement

The entry requirements for our postgraduate programmes are normally a first or upper second class degree. For modules in Digital Biology, students are expected to have studied their first degree in either Computer Science (or similar) or Biology, Medicine or similar. However, all applications to PDcs are considered on an individual basis, and work experience in relevant fields will be taken into consideration.

Language requirements

For all courses a good command of verbal and written English is essential and all applicants must have an approved qualification e.g. TOEFL or IELTS. The minimum standard is normally a score of 600 for TOEFL or Band 7 for IELTS. English language courses are offered by the English Language Teaching Unit within the University.
