Published: 17 February 2014

Reminder of the new regulations for accessing Kilburn building out-of-hours; an interesting Workshop

Dear Masters students,

I hope you are doing well and make good progress with your project! As you should all be aware, the school is implementing the new out of hours arrangements for the Kilburn Building, since 27th January 2014:

KILBURN BUILDING: is open weekdays from 8am until 6pm ('Normal Working Hours'). For all MSc and MRes students, the Lower First and First floors of the building can be used between 6pm and 11:30pm weekdays and between 8am and 11:30pm weekends only if the new style out-of-hours pass has been obtained.

The porters have been instructed not to allow any further access to the building to students without one of the new passes. Information regarding the new system was circulated to postgraduate students in the Masters News on 20th January 2014; reminders have been emailed to undergraduates (20/1/14) and postgraduates (23/1/14).

If you wish to obtain a pass you need to complete the Moodle online course => https://moodle.cs.man.ac.uk/course/view.php?id=290
