May Ball, Mitigating Circumstances, Your Masters Project

Dear Master students,

here are the latest news for Master students:

TELL US: please complete your surveys of our teaching in Semester 2 on Blackboard => manchester.ac.uk/tellus

MIDNIGHT MASQUERADE MAY BALL: takes place on 9th May, in association with Computer Science, Religion, Languages and Theology departments, at The Midland Hotel => www.url.cssoc.co.uk/mayball . To get tickets email us at info@cssoc.co.uk

MITIGATING  CIRCUMSTANCES: If you have any mitigating circumstances during the Semester 2 teaching period (up until 14th May), please submit your Mitigating Circumstances by 15th May 2014. If you have any mitigating circumstances during the semester 2 examinations period (15th May – 2nd June), please submit your Mitigating Circumstances by 6th June 2014.

YOUR PROJECT: in case you are wondering, the Masters Handbook lists student and supervisor responsibilities at B.7 and B.8 - it may be helpful for you to have another look at these. You are advised to discuss the Initial Report Feedback (under "Rubric") and your plans over the Easter Break with your supervisor - you may have some catching up to do, in case you spent more than 50% on your time on coursework, and thus too little on your project. => http://studentnet.cs.manchester.ac.uk/pgt/2013/handbook/MScHB.pdf

Cheers, Uli
