The University is involved in exploitation of graphene and related 2D materials. This CDT offers doctoral training in a broad range of graphene and related subjects. Researchers at the University are heavily involved in the design and applications of compact THz operating nanodevices and their applications in different environments such as medicine, security and related areas.
