Visit days
Visit days give you a taste of what it's like to be a student at Manchester and allow you to ask any questions you may have about studying here, university life or the city itself.
To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to meet the Department and find out more about The University of Manchester, the decision has been made to deliver our visit days virtually. Our team have been working hard to ensure we deliver a similar student experience so that you receive all the information you need to make your decision.

How can I prepare for my virtual visit day?
If you haven’t done so already, please sign up to Zoom and familiarise yourself with the service. If this will be your first-time using Zoom, you may wish to have a trial ‘meeting’ with a friend or family member ahead of your virtual visit day. We will ask you to name your Zoom profile with your full name when you join the virtual visit day so we can mark you in as attended.
You will need to use your webcam, microphone, and speakers / headphones.
On the visit day
Our visit days are full of useful information that will help you get a sense of what to expect when studying your course at Manchester.
The virtual visit day will begin with a welcome and introductory presentation by an academic member of staff hosting the event. This will be followed by a talk from a current student, information on our Industrial Experience year and a Q&A session with academic staff, student ambassadors and the admissions team.
We welcome you to bring along anyone who would benefit from learning more about our University in order to help you make your decision.
